Financial Director – Work description

Working Capital management (inventory, payables and receivables net cash
conversion cycle in days)
• cost control and margin improvements through cost variable cost control and
management of landlord relationships
• Compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Cash flow management, foreign currency exposure management & adhering
to banks’ covenants
• Timely and accurate Financial reporting
• Processes fully implemented and optimised
• Capability building of the team
• Controls fully implemented and monitored / fully deploying the Delegation of Authority

Essential Requirements

Experience of the fast food QSR sector.
• Highly commercial with regard to optimising sales, minimizing costs and
balancing risks
• Demonstrable success building and developing finance functions
• Successful implementation of an ERP system
• Track record in restructuring F&B businesses in terms of cost optimization,
improving existing and adding new banking relationships and close
management of landlords and suppliers is a plus
• Educated to degree standard
• Accountancy qualification from internationally recognised body
• Previous exposure to KSA preferable but not mandatory

• Strategic thinking to see the big picture and position the business for future
sale
• Priority management to focus on the key issues
• Commercial awareness to understand the broader industry issues and their
relation to YYT Food Corp strategy
• Project management and continuous improvement skills.
• Presentation skills to command respect and support at Board Level
• Leadership and influencing skills to gain support of key staff and key
stakeholders
• Proven negotiation skills with banks, landlords and suppliers
